FOX News is Trailer Trash Pie

Cal Thomas accurately describes FOX News:

"All of them are trying to copy FOX News now to be honest. Many of them are doing tabloid, more big lipped blonde’s and all this kind of stuff. There’s only so much of that trailer trash pie to go around."

And that's just one more reason for FOX News to snatch Nancy Grace away from CNN.

(Uh oh...Snatch, pie, and big-lipped, all in the same post? Hope the FCC isn't reading....)

Profit is the new Jesus.

And anyone telling you differently is trying to sell you something.

Especially when it's Ford, still claiming that they are an American company.

Desiderata.com

Go placidly amid the glitches & errors & remember what peace there may be in DSL. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all message boards. Type your truth spelled properly & with grammatical correctness; and read others, even the dull & ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid people who spam & use stupid icons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare your site to others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater & lesser web sites than your own. Enjoy your site awards as well as your subscribers.

Keep interested in your link pop, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of dotcoms. Exercise caution in your affiliates; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; the information highway strives for high ideals; and everywhere the web is full of shareware.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign HTML knowledge. Neither be cynical about code; for in the face of all obfuscation, it is as necessary as your password.

Take kindly the counsel of the geeks, gracefully surrendering to XML and PHP. Nurture patience with technology to shield you in sudden upgrades. But do not distress yourself with downtime worries. Many fears are born of infected attachments & poor connections.

You are a child of the Internet, no less than the hackers & the housewives; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the Internet is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with Bill Gates, whatever you conceive him to be, and whatever your mission & agenda, in the noisy confusion of cyberspace, keep peace with your ISP.

With all its viruses, slow downloads & broken links, it is still a beautiful Internet. Be careful. Strive to stay connected.

Adorable Ann

Everyone's favorite moral anorexic, Ann Coulter, has finally lifted her leg on a few of the widows of 9/11. And wasn't it just a matter of time before she went too far? She's skated up to the edge many a time. But what an act of desperation on her part to sink this low for mere attention:

"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzies. I have never seen people enjoying their husbands’ death so much."

Yup, those ladies are really partying. Then Ann added:

"These self-obsessed women seem genuinely unaware that 9-11 was an attack on our nation and acted like as if the terrorist attack only happened to them. They believe the entire country was required to marinate in their exquisite personal agony."

Yea, bless their hearts, those widows are clueless.

When I read Coulter's words, the image of a female Hannibal Lector crossed my mind, but then I realized that the comparison actually paid her a compliment.

From the USA to the ASU
The reversal of progress

Welcome to the American Soviet Union, where spying on citizens is par for the course.

"Now, watch this shot!" cried King George, and all the good little sheeple quietly observed and politely applauded.

Use your noggins: Do we really want (gasp) Democrats running the ASU? Dang, the first thing they'd do is switch the ASU back to the USA, and who wants unmitigated freedom? Not our citizens, nossiree.

Those Democrats are strange people. Instead of spending tax money on war and death, they'd rather spend it on peace and life. That's just plain twisted, isn't it? Instead of limiting freedoms, they want to expand them; they actually want to uphold the Constitution. And as King George once screamed, "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face, it’s just a goddamned piece of paper!"

Watch out for those sneaky Democrats: They think the Constitution is more than just a bathroom accessory.
